Tour Colorado’s First Multi-Family Certified Passive House in Englewood with Sterling Builders.
There will be two tours available on Sunday afternoon. Each tour is limited to 20 attendees - registration required.

Keynote Speaker - Ben Bogie
Ben is a second generation builder known for his craftsmanship and his practical approach to energy efficiency and resilience. He specializes in building science, low-energy designs, and high-end custom finishes and is passionate about creating high-performance homes.
Workshop #1
The morning workshop series will explore the benefits of both double stud walls and exterior insulation vs code-minimum walls. Featuring local professionals sharing their practical, experienced-based knowledge, you’ll gain a hands-on understanding of these different approaches to high-performance building and the benefits they offer. Working in small groups with other builders and full-sized mockups you’ll gain the expertise you need to take on new wall systems.
Break for Lunch
LL Lunch will be provided by Serendipity Catering. You’ll have time to browse our sponsor expo and speak with municipality officials, code consultants, passive-house experts, and representatives of a broad range of products from insulation to ignition resistant cladding, and air sealing to catch-all high performance building material supply.
Workshop #2
The afternoon workshop series will dive into air sealing for high-performance homes exploring framing and it’s relationship to good air sealing including details and sequencing - you name it, insulation and airtightness expert Johnny Rezvani will walk you through it. This new grasp on high performance walls will be paired with an overview on mechanical systems and options best suited to well insulated and tightly sealed homes.
